Triumph Gold’s (TSXV.TIG) road-accessible, district scale (~ 200 sq. km) Freegold Mountain Gold-Copper Project is located in the Yukon Territory, a stable, mining-friendly jurisdiction in north-west Canada, within a geological belt that hosts multiple large gold and gold-copper deposits and mines. Since 2016, Triumph Gold’s exploration has been focused on the six-km long intense multi-element soil and geophysical anomaly that encompasses the Revenue and Nucleus deposit areas. They have the longest +1% CuEq porphyry intersection ever drilled in the Yukon: 316m of 1.1 g/t Au, 5.0 g/t Ag and 0.27% Cu and the highest grade intersection in a porphyry with 79.75m of 2.48 g/t Au and 0.38% Cu.

The project is situated within an active exploration and mining area in the Tintina Gold Belt, home to numerous multi-million ounce gold deposits including the producing Fort Knox mine operated by Kinross Gold Corp., Goldcorp’s Coffee Creek deposit and the Victoria Gold Corp.’s development stage multi-million ounce Eagle Gold Mine.
